Any rights to use or exploit MyLiveableCity’s article/content (“Article” or “Content”) are conditioned on the User’s adherence to the Attribution Requirements outlined in this Policy as below:

1) The written Content from MyLiveableCity’s Magazine, available either in print or on the web, may be republished only in part without any change, with attribution and permission.

2) No User is permitted to
(i) use MyLiveableCity’s Article including blog, review, commentary, column, content and any other of such kind in any manner that may harm, target, oppress or defame MyLiveableCity, or any particular sect, group or population, or cause any of the foregoing to be harmed, oppressed or defamed;
(ii) use MyLiveableCity’s Content for commercial purposes, or use by publications that fail to follow ethical journalistic standards, or by any publication or organization whose objectives are contrary to those of MyLiveableCity.
(iii) use any of the MLC’s Content to create, develop, support or promote for himself/herself or for any other person’s product or platform similar to, or in competition with, or would create a functional substitute for, any of MyLiveableCity Content, products or platform; and
(iii) provide, permit or allow access to any of the MyLiveableCity’s Article to any other person or the competitors of MyLiveableCity, other than himself/herself.

3) Attribution Requirements :
a) The User should visually indicate that the Content is from MyLiveableCity’s website while using MyLiveableCity Content in any way directly or indirectly. The Content must be clearly acknowledged as indicated by MyLiveableCity. Acknowledgement should include
(i) a footnote with the full citation which includes the hyperlink pointing directly to MyLiveableCity’s domain in standard HTML visible even with Java script disabled, and not use a tiny URL or any other form of obfuscation or redirection and
(ii) in text citation/acknowledgement, stating where the data the User use are from and that MyLiveableCity Content are publicly available and
(iii) clear citation on any and all visuals/images making use of MyLiveableCity Content.
(iv) the acknowledgement should be in a standard form which states the details of Title, Author, Publisher and the Source.

b) Attribution for Content used / republished from MyLiveableCity Magazine should say :
(i) In print or Online: Extract from title of the Article/ Content by name of the author published by MyLiveableCity in MyLiveableCity’s Magazine, Source - www.myliveablecity.com
(ii) If the full article is not used, include the line “Read the full article at (Insert link to the site)”.
(iii) Photos / Images: Use the photographer’s name and MyLiveableCity Magazine, depending upon how the photo is credited in MyLiveableCity’s publication or on the web.

c) The User shall not remix, transform, or build upon the Content of MyLiveableCity without the prior permission of MyLiveableCity. The User shall be liable for any violation of remix, transform, or build upon the Content.

d) Use of photos or images from the MyLiveableCity Article shall require prior permission from our publication and may also require permission from the photographer.

The User shall attribute the work only in the manner specified by MyLiveableCity and shall not in any other manner that would suggests MyLiveableCity endorses the User or his/her use.
